NITROGEN EXPLAINED
AIR CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING
GASSES
78% Nitrogen
21% Oxygen
1% TRACE GASSES ( See Picture Below)
Lets get into some Facts
•
Less corrosion
•
slower rate of pressure loss
•
100% Nitrogen is not flammable
Benefits of Nitrogen:
Lets put the benefits into perspective:
•
A tyre inflated with normal Air already has
a high percentage of 78% Nitrogen
•
Currently most vehicles come standard fitted
with alloy wheels, which cannot rust
•
Not being flammable is a bit of an advantage,
but only in certain scenarios
Lets get a bit more Technical:
Nitrogen Machines that are used by Tyre Fitment
Centres can only generate 95% Nitrogen.
If it were possible to vacuum all the
“Normal Air containing 78% Nitrogen” from a
tyre and then inflate with 95% Nitrogen, this tyre
would still only have 17% more Nitrogen than a
tyre filled with “Normal Air containing 78% Nitrogen”
But wait a minute:
Tyres should never be subjected to a vacuum
in an effort to eliminate the Oxygen. Distorting the
tyre ( As shown in the picture below) can be as
detrimental to the internal structure of the
tyre as running over potholes and road hazards.
This 17% increase in Nitrogen does
NOT mean you are going to have:
Our Tip:
Rather spend your money on Wheel Alignment
and Balancing, you will actually prolong your tyre
life and improve your vehicle’s handling and
fuel consumption.

Search the internet to see if you can find
any formula that calculates how much you can
save by using NITROGEN
NITROGEN THUS MAKE UP THE
LARGEST PART IN THE AIR
WE BREATHE, WHICH IS THE VERY
SAME AIR USED TO INFLATE TYRES
•
17% Less Corrosion
•
17% Less Pressure Loss
•
17% Less Heat Generation
•
17% Longer Tyre Life
